to the 4th Annual iSkate Competition must be postmarked by Mar 28th, 2012. Late entries, if accepted, will pay double
the fees. No entries will be accepted
without payment of fees. No refunds will be given on any entries.

EVENT SCHEDULE:
The event schedule will be sent to all coaches no later than one week
before the competition. Please check
with your coach for your competition time.
Details regarding availability of
practice ice and cost will be available with the tentative schedule. We
would like to have all events on Saturday, April 28, but please plan for this
competition to be a two day event if we receive a high number of applications.

Our own Maya Carter will soon be attending USFSA Junior Nationals after winning at the Regional level. This is an amazing accomplishment for one of our local skaters!!
Members and friends of the LU Radiance Team have organized a fundraiser for Maya as she participates in the competition. The team has worked with the LaHaye management to donate their ice time on Sunday, November 27 from 2:15-3:45 for a special, private/public skate, the proceeds of which will go to support Maya. This is a wonderful opportunity for our club to give Maya an LFSC send-off as well!
Here are the details:
What: A Benefit Skate for Maya Carter
When: Sunday, November 27, 2:15-3:45
Cost: $5 including skate rental
Club Members can help by:
- Inviting friends and family to support the event. Fliers will be available on Monday night
- Bringing a card for Maya for the "Good Luck" box from LFSC

LFSC Alumni performs with Disney On Ice
Lynchburg Figure Skating Club Celebrates debut performance of our own Kyle Smith who will be skating in this season's Disney on Ice production:
The show opens this week in Florida and will be coming to Virginia toward the end of September as part of their East Coast tour. We are so proud of Kyle, who has been a member of our club throughout his skating career.

Christmas on Ice practice sessions will take place each Thursday from 6:15PM-8:15PM beginning Sep 1. No practice on Nov 24.
